Cafe/Restaurant Manager

We're looking for full-time experienced Café/Restaurant Manager with great work ethic, passion and strong knowledge in all areas of cafe and restaurant operations! Your hands on approach and your natural ability to guide and train a team to create an exceptional customer experience is paramount. Your communication skills will be exceptional as will your ability to work independently towards company goals. This full-time position is an equally rewarding and challenging position, it's your chance to be a part of something worth waking up for.
The Chambers:
The Chambers aims to create a foundation without borders. A fresh, intriguing, yet familiar approach to its culinary offering drives the inspiration. Each area offers a unique and personable experience through its food, beverage selection, feeling and décor.
Required Skills
• Organising and coordinating private functions and events within the café and restaurant as per customer requests
• Stocktaking, ordering and managing stock on a day to day basis
• Communicating regularly with suppliers, monitoring pricing of goods and purchasing within budget
• Planning and assisting in the creation, along with the Head Chef, of new menus and menu items using customer feedback and past sales analysis.
• Ensuring café/restaurant is complying with health regulations and keeping all areas clean and tidy.
• Monitoring and regularly communicating with the General Manager with regards to financial reports
• Regularly checking in with customers to ensure there are having a positive experience and in the event of negative feedback promptly addressing those customer complaints in an appropriate fashion.
• Recruiting, training and supervising your team members
• Taking customer calls, organising bookings, serving tables, taking orders etc
• 3+ years' management experience also relevant qualifications at the level of Diploma or higher
• Strong wine/beverage knowledge
• Strong barista skills/ familiar with la Marzocco machinery and equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong customer relationship building skills

Salary: $68,500 – $74,000.00
