Digital Workplace Services (DWS), a subset of the IT services team, is leading a major digital transformation to position ASIC as a premier regulator in the Australian financial markets. Our key initiatives include modernizing the digital workplace, enhancing mobility, security, and cloud capabilities, and focusing on data sharing, analytics, and automation. The role As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead the charge to maintain and enhance ASIC's Enterprise Network Services, with a focus on our Cisco Wi-Fi platform. You will deliver exceptional customer service and network technology solutions to the organization. This role requires senior engineer with strong technical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills who can systematically resolve complex operational issues and continuously improve our Wi-Fi experience nationwide. More specifically, you will: Take ownership of the design, build, and operations of ASIC's Enterprise Network services, focusing on ASIC's Cisco Wireless platform Monitor and manage technology services to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency of ASIC's Cisco Wireless platform Develop and implement best practices for availability, performance, security, maintenance, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery of ASIC's Cisco Wireless platform Identify and address risks related to the Enterprise Network product portfolio Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort. Identify and implement process efficiencies with a continuous improvement mindset Document processes, procedures, and best practices for managing technology services About you The ideal candidate for this role is someone with strong technology leadership skills and significant previous experience in the design, build and operations of Network Services, especially "Cisco Wi-Fi" deployments. In addition, you will have: Extensive demonstrated technology leadership experience with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in designing, building, and managing Network Services, particularly "Cisco Wi-Fi First" deployments Expert knowledge and experience designing, building and support of Cisco Wireless Platforms, including wireless LAN controllers, Cisco ISE, WAP, and DNAC Proficient in Cisco Campus and Data Centre networking, switching, and routing Preferred experience with Fortinet SDWAN and F5 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Previous demonstrated experience in automating network operations, such as vulnerability and software patching and deploying configuration files using Catalyst Centre (DNA) or other open system tools Previous experience in deploying & managing infrastructure in public clouds (AWS/ Azure) for enterprise network Ability to effectively develop content and present information to different target audiences both verbally and in writing (position solution options, form recommendations, influence decision making) Click 'apply' to start your application.
