You will work on varied and interesting network infrastructure projects across both IT and OT network domains, starting from project inception, through solution design and implementation, and then handing over to the operational team. This role will be predominantly office-based project work in Brisbane, with occasional interstate travel. Typical tasks may include:Designing and implementing data network and security services, components and associated infrastructure including WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls, radio & cellular, fixed wireless, etc.Assessing existing network infrastructure to evaluate lifecycle, performance or configuration, and provide guidance and recommendations for optimization or remediation of issues.Producing and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and records regarding infrastructure solutions.Providing technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of technical issues related to networking equipment and services within agreed timeframes that reflect business impact and importance.Conducting acceptance tests and commissioning of communications systems and equipment.Working with suppliers/carriers/vendors as required to identify and resolve technical issues.Analysing network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to network infrastructures as appropriate.Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and accuracy to ensure projects are delivered to a high quality within the specified time constraints.What will make you successful in this role?Experience in an ICT Network Engineering roleHold Associate Certification (eg CCNA)Proficient understanding of ICT network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, WLAN, security.Technical problem-solving skills when testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning network hardware and softwareUnderstanding of service management principles and procedures, service strategies and lifecycle plansAtturra is committed to addressing the digital skills gap and advocating for diversity and inclusion.
