This part of the business supports primarily the agriculture business from Shepparton providing a range of design & construct solutions for large-scale farming buildings and infrastructure.
Your new role
Your new role is to manage the operational side of the enterprise in Shepparton which includes a pre-cast concrete panel plant, team of project managers, support staff, sub-contractors, and installation teams. Back office support is in the form of marketing, finance, payroll, HR, and estimating.
The scope of the role includes:
Liaise with estimating team on tenders and quotes
Client liaison and coordination of new sales leads
Management of operational P&L
Manage day-to-day operations of the business unit across all finance, HR and production/operations elements
Manage local suppliers and associated agreements
Implement best practices in operational structures and process
Overseeing scheduling and sequencing of work
Your background and experience
To be successful you will have to have come from a similar role where you have led teams and managed a P&L. You will have a background in running a branch operation or manufacturing, engineering/production and have managed all operational components of running a stand-alone business unit including safety.
