Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Pricing Team as a Senior Actuarial Analyst. We are looking for an experienced and talented individuals to join our Actuarial team, as we expand our actuarial and pricing function.
Reporting to the Actuarial Manager you will perform actuarial calculations to assist the relevant business units obtain and manage a profitable business by supporting the work of the senior actuaries.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
4. Knowing and applying actuarial and statistical pricing techniques
5. Carrying out data analysis and responsibility for specific outputs
6. Demonstrating ability to apply reasonableness checks and sound judgment to pricing outputs
7. Assessing impact of pricing on key profit drivers and performance metrics
8. Taking initiative to rmend changes to existing pricing processes
9. Drafting pricing rmendations to be peer reviewed by more senior actuaries
10. Developing relationships with internal stakeholders
About you
11. You havepleted the Actuaries Institute's Part II course or are part way through your Part IIIs.
12. Your sound knowledge and experience from a General Insurance pricing background
13. Experience with using SAS
14. Problem solving and decision-making skills
15. Ability to apply a range of statistical and actuarial techniques to solve technical pricing problems
16. Ability to extract, analyse and interpret data from several sources and resolveplex issues
17. Strongmunication skills, including explainingplicated concepts in a simple way
