A service that maximised diversity, promoted an ecosystem of safety and that collectively focused on delivering national, systemwide impact.Following the appointment of two experienced and inspiring CEO’s, and creation of the next 12-month strategic plan, Possability has a vision of advocacy, care enhancement and commercial stability.The OpportunityReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer Disability (COO) will form a key member of Possability’s Executive leadership team, working collaboratively to execute the organisational strategy. The COO Disability is accountable for leading the delivery of all service delivery operations, ensuring that Possability delivers high quality, economically sustainable client-focused services. This suite of services includes Independent Living, Pathways to Employment, Respite and Positive Behaviour Support.The COO is responsible for all aspects of operational performance including internal and external performance expectations, as well the enabling functions such as the rostering, recruitment, employee and customer experience functions.As the COO, you will:Oversee the efficient and effective delivery of NDIS services, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment to best practice.Oversee risk management efforts, including safeguarding practices to protect vulnerable populations.Collaborate with finance teams to optimize budget management and resource allocation.Be a change leader for business transformation and new ways of working.Build and lead a high-performing workforce to ensure a skilled and responsive team.About YouWe are seeking an experienced and accomplished executive with a proven track record in leadership, operational excellence and strategic management within the Disability sector. Additionally, at least 5 years of relevant industry experience and formal relevant tertiary qualification are essential.As a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, you should have a demonstrated ability to identify business risks and opportunities for improvement, leveraging your expertise in financial management and strategic planning to support organisational goals. You should possess effective negotiation and influencing skills to achieve sustainable outcomes, combined with proven experience in leading and motivating diverse teams.
