If you're passionate about leading change, promoting continuous improvement, and making data-driven decisions to guide financial performance, we invite you to join us in shaping our financial future.The day to dayOversee financial operations within the designated region, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.Lead, mentor, and manage regional financial staff, fostering adherence to company policies and procedures.Provide financial analysis and support to regional and group business leaders, the Group Financial Controller, and the Group CFO, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to guide decision-making and track strategic initiatives.Oversee the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the region's operations.Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning within the region.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local management, corporate teams, and external partners.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency gains and process optimization.Manage the month-end closing process for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Coordinate external audit processes, acting as the key liaison with auditors during annual audits.Lead the credit and collections management process, with a focus on improving cash generation.Participate in regional M&A activities, including post-merger integration of finance functions and policies.The EssentialsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with current CA or CPA accreditation.10+ years of experience in finance and accounting within a high-volume industrial or business services environment, including at least 5 years in a management role.Proven experience in leading ERP implementation projects, either as a functional lead or finance manager, is highly advantageous.Strong analytical skills with the capability to understand complex accounting processes, conduct thorough audits, and identify areas for improvement.Expertise in data analysis, with a track record of developing and implementing processes to drive efficiency and streamline operations.Working at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.
