The Opportunity:
UGL Utilities division is seeking an experienced HSE Administrator for a Power Station project based in the Hunter Valley region.
The Project:
Located in the small suburb of Loxford in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, approximately three km north of the town of Kurri Kurri, and approximately 35 km west of Newcastle and 125 km north of Sydney.
The Hunter Power Station Project is expected to have approximately 660 megawatts and will be generated via two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines, and the turbines functionality will be incorporated into the facility. Operations is considered a backup function in the case that gas supply to the site is not available, this will connect into the existing electricity transmission, infrastructure is located near the Site.
Some key responsibilities of this role will include
* Undertake all responsibilities in a safe manner.
* Participate in site HSE meetings as required
* Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
* Comply and have input into safe working procedures.
* Report hazards, incidents and accidents within company guidelines.
* Actively participate in safety training.
* Prepares and distributes HSE Reports within set deadlines.
* Produces HSE Publications (HSE Newsletters, notice boards etc.).
* Prepares and rolls out HSE Campaigns.
* Maintains the HSE Check-It Planner.
* Tracks Injury Cases and ensures that case chronologic event logs are maintained for each case and are available at all times.
