About the role:
As a Broker Business Coach, you will play a pivotal role in empowering Loan Market brokers to build high-performing, sustainable businesses. This role is designed for a financially savvy, strategic thinker and business coach who can provide expert commercial guidance, tailored coaching, and hands-on support to help brokers achieve growth, efficiency, and long-term business success.
The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, strong communication and coaching skills, and a passion for helping others grow and succeed.
Key responsibilities:
* Business Growth & Strategy: Work closely with brokers to plan, develop and implement strategies that drive business growth, improve productivity, and enhance client acquisition.
* Performance Coaching and Analysis: Provide one-on-one and group coaching to help businesses understand their financial position & profitability, optimise their sales process, customer engagement, and business operations. Assess performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
* Training Development: Create and deliver group coaching & training programs leveraging industry best practices, learnings, compliance, and emerging market trends.
* Marketing & Lead Generation: Support brokers in leveraging digital marketing, AI-driven tools, and data insights to enhance their brand presence and attract new clients and partnerships.
* Technology & Innovation: Guide brokers on adopting cutting-edge fintech solutions to streamline their workflows and improve customer experience.
* Operational Excellence: Assist in refining processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Accountability & Support: Act as a trusted advisor, keeping brokers accountable to their goals while offering ongoing motivation and support.
* Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, providing brokers with relevant insights to inform their strategies.
To succeed in this role you will bring with you:
* Be a seasoned professional with experience in mortgage broking, finance, or business coaching.
* Experience running your own business with a proven track record of delivering strong growth and profitability either in your own business or through the coaching of other businesses.
* You have led a business to scale up or helped coach businesses to scale up / IPO.
* Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy - able to interpret financial reports and other performance metrics, providing key insights and recommending strategies to guide business profitability and performance.
* Passionate about helping others succeed and driving business growth.
* A strong communicator with the ability to inspire, coach and influence, having tough conversations when needed.
* Tech-savvy, with a keen interest in AI, automation, and a range of strategies to enhance business performance.
* Results-driven, adaptable, and committed to delivering real impact.
* Excellent public speaking / presentation skills - comfortable and able to engage both groups and 1:1, in person or virtual.
* Relevant certifications in coaching and/or business management are advantageous.
* A willingness and ability to travel domestically as may be required for events or to business premises.
