Job Opportunity
We are seeking qualified Electricians to join our dynamic team on the Rio Tinto Western Range Project in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
About the Role
This iron ore project features the construction of a new run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit, HV switching, and associated plant.
The role involves:
* Interpreting drawings and specifications
* Ensuring installation adheres to these
* Carrying out planning tasks
* Installing cable ladders and conduits
* Completing cable installations
* Performing cable terminations
* Installing devices and instruments
* Installing small light and power
* Earging above and underground
About You
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* A Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
* A Western Australian Electrical License
* A valid Working at Heights certification (desirable)
* A current High Risk Work License with EWP (WP)
* Valid First Aid, LVR & CPR certifications (desirable)
* Demonstrated skills in First Attack Firefighting Equipment (desirable)
* A willingness to complete RIO Inductions and Face-to-Face Aveling training
