Your opportunityWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Risk & Security Manager to join Westfield Helensvale.
This leadership role is focused on directing the living destination's risk and security management functions, providing the optimal level of security and safety for our team, business partners and customers.Day to day, you'll be responsible for:Proactively planning and delivering priorities from our Safety Framework, providing a safe and secure environment that exceeds customer expectations, whilst promoting safety as an integral part of the customer experienceProactively managing, reporting, and responding to hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses and claimsManaging safety audits and inspection programs.Managing compliance with all security and health & safety policies, procedures, & practicesManaging external contract partners and the security teamDeveloping strong relationships and work with local Police, WHS Regulators, Fire Brigade and Ambulance Services to develop operational and emergency protocols.As a part of our asset team, you'll also have duty management responsibilities, where you'll be required to work a weekend shifts (on a roster), which will be balanced with a day/s off in lieu.What sets you apart?
You'll have excellent risk management experience, partnered with a strong background in security, and a passion for retail property.
Technically, you'll also have the following skills and experience:Qualification or related experience in Work Health and SafetyA strong background in leading risk management and securityDemonstrated ability to mitigate & manage risk, manage incident response, reporting, authority interaction and insurance claims management.Experience and technical knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems, and visitor and contractor management systems.
