We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Financial Analyst for a 6-month project. Applicants on working holiday visas are encouraged to apply. The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance your duties will include but not limited to; Developing annual and monthly forecasts to support the commercial side of the business. Creating commercial models to assist the commercial team and broader group, including support in partner negotiations. Overseeing regular performance analysis across various business areas to guide informed decision-making and operational execution. Collaborating with technology teams to prepare recurring performance reports for both internal and external stakeholders, enriched with insightful commentary. Offering guidance and preparing projections to evaluate the impact of key events, activities, and initiatives on business performance. Conducting performance analysis and intelligence gathering on industry trends and key organisations. Assisting with business cases and strategic project implementations. Contributing to strategic projects that involve external industry stakeholders, such as funding arrangements and partnerships. Educating and providing guidance on profit models and industry structures to internal teams and external consultants. Participating in strategic meetings with industry partners across various regions. Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration 3 years finance experience leading complex negotiations with internal and external stakeholders Advanced Excel skills and experience with working with and analysing high sets of data Thorough understanding of Sporting or wagering highly desirable Excellent oral/written communication skills Must be detail oriented, with the ability to effectively work cross functionally Strong level of personal organisation and experience of managing multiple projects Ability to work across an organisation, build positive partnerships and foster a collaborative work environment.
