This role is responsible for working on several projects that the financial reporting team will be involved in during the year. The role involves managing the stakeholder relationships with project teams, actuaries, investment team, tax team and operations teams. This role will also need to deal with senior management. Role Responsibilities: Working on projects that impact financial reporting team including investment system transition and super fund transfers. Support the timely response to project requests and queries in collaboration with relevant SMEs. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders (Project team, Investment team, Actuaries, tax team and relevant operations team) ensuring all needs are delivered. Maintain collaborative relationships with other management functions to enable effective exchange of information required to support general accounting services. Support the accuracy of financial control outputs, by ensuring processes adhere to compliance and control disciplines. Support compliance with all applicable project requirements (both internal and external). Contribute to end to end process improvement Escalate any issues or findings in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, legislation, and regulations (Statutory and Regulatory). Key Requirements: Advanced excel skill or higher. Experience with statutory and regulatory accounting. SAP general ledger experience. Sound analytical skills CPA/CA qualified or equivalent with 6 years’ post qualification experience in preferably in financial services industry.
