The role is to be part of the Connectivity Operations team who are continually shaping and developing how they facilitate and support the network/customer server requirements for our services.
In this role you will be primarily focused on supporting infrastructure and building on their record of customer service excellence.
What you’ll do:
* Monday to Friday role
* Rostered hours 7am, 10am and 1pm starts
* Work a hybrid role based at a datacenter 2/3 days a week
* deliver network infrastructure enabling customers to access financial products from the datacenter or at client premises.
* Configuring, installing and patching devices (Cisco, Arista, Metamako, Dell, Lenovo), updating DNS, updating monitoring.
* Plan, Build and Implement networks both on site and remotely
* Perform network maintenance
* Create and maintain technical documents
* Increase predictive monitoring
You will have experience in:
* Experience working at a Datacenter/Field experience
* You must be Citizen or PR
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
* Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
* Excellent customer service skills
* A service delivery background
* Mid-level knowledge Linux based operating systems
Desirable skills:
* CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
* Knowledge of Gartner top quadrant networking technologies
* Understanding of Security in Networking.
* Experience in Service Provider solutions.
* Experience with Multicast and trading platforms.
* A strong passion for Automation and repeatable processes.
