RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create sketches, charts, and plans for projects like drainage, water supply, and roads.
Oversee and carry out fieldwork and lab testing.
Understand and follow work instructions, using the right methods and tools.
Gather and analyze data, and perform calculations.
Estimate costs for materials and check that work meets standards and contracts.
Inspect construction projects and manage maintenance and repairs.
Test construction materials and soils in the field and lab.
Collect data for traffic surveys.
Collaborate with teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
Keep detailed records of work and test results.
Review designs to ensure they are practical and safe.
Assist in project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project progress and concerns.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Certificate IV in Civil Construction Design at a minimum, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification.
Minimum of 1 year trade qualification required as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson.
Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant discipline required.
Committed to adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries at the workshop.
What we offer:

Salary: $74,000 annually excluding superannuation.
Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
