They have projects secured through the end of 2024 including numerous Education, medical, community, industrial, and fuel station projects and are looking to expand their current team to meet these demands.
This company has multiple projects across Metro Melbourne so they're looking for Site Managers in various locations.
THE ROLE
As a Site Manager for this company, you will be reporting directly to a Project Manager and you will have the support of a dedicated on-site team including Leading Hand, subcontractors and labour.
Duties include but are not limited to;
1. Manage single projects from start to completion (14-18 month build times)
2. Ensure Occupational Health and Safety is adhered to
3. Liaising with internal staff, (Project Manager, PC and Construction Manager)
4. Keep to the expected quality standard within the agreed time frames
5. Managing the site coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
If you have had experience site managing commercial projects up to $5mill over the past 3 years and thrive in a challenging environment, this role could be suited to you.
6. History of delivering projects start to finish between $5-15mill that includes a variety of projects in the commercial space
7. A Carpentry background is a must!
8. 2-5 years in a Site Management position preferred.
9. Excellent attention to detail, diligence and willingness to learn
10. Be somebody that identifies problems before they BECOME a problem
11. Strong communication skills will be vital as the client's go-to on-site
