Digital Marketing Specialist Hornsby area Permanent Role - Full Time Salary: $100k - $110k Super In office role (5 days a week on-site due to nature of the role) Cox Purtell is currently working with a prestigious not for profit organisation, based on the Upper North Shore - an exemplary institution, steeped in history, values and traditions, and highly respected globally. They're now looking to hire a motivated and experienced communications professional, responsible for bringing the organisation's brand to life through the creation of compelling written and visual content for use in digital and social media channels, encompassing the various different aspects of the organisation. A key focus of this role is communications - you'll be responsible for crafting written content, capturing video and stills, and also managing and coordinating all digital and social media platforms. Therefore the ability to write, edit and proof engaging communication pieces is a key focus and non-negotiable skill. Main areas of responsibility include: Write regular news articles for the website, to be shared across social media. Execute photography & videography for various purposes - identifying and executing opportunities for engaging visual and digital content. Manage all platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Vimeo. Shoot & produce video content at key events. Develop and manage a social media events calendar - planning and scheduling posts simultaneously across all platforms. Create & execute Facebook ad campaigns and targeted posts to promote key events Provide analytics reports across all platforms as required. Manage Meta Business Suite. Maintain & update the website with any changes required - photos, edits and additional content. Organise & manage all major advertising photo shoots including planning schedules, booking photographers and project managing the process. Develop, edit and produce content for digital publications. Your Profile: The successful candidate will be an experienced and demonstrated Digital Content professional, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry qualifications in digital media, communications, marketing or journalism is essential. Demonstrated professional experience in content creation and management of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. Demonstrated experience in social media management & analytical tools. Experience in website management and digital communication tools. Experience in capturing, editing and post-production of digital photography and videos. Proven IT skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva or similar. Strong organisational skills. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Experience within education is desirable but not essential.
