The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Automotive Technician to work at our Jayell Ford dealership in Kyabram. Our ideal applicant will demonstrate a successful background in a similar role and will have the proven ability to work in a busy service team consisting of multiple service advisors and technicians. Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of all repairs and services. Diagnose complex vehicle issues and provide guidance to technicians. Maintain high standards of quality control. Oversee inventory management and ensure availability of necessary parts and tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and options. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members. Qualifications: Proven experience as an automotive technician. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs. Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license. Aircon Licence and Victorian RWC Tester Licence desirable but not essential. Certification from a recognized automotive training institution.
