Hepatobiliary & Upper GI Clinical Trial Coordinator3+ years of relevant experience in clinical research workDemonstrated understanding of International Conference of Harmonisation30.4 hours per week for 6 monthsAbout the RoleThe Department of Upper GI and Hepatobiliary Surgery research unit at St. Vincent's Hospital and Eastern Health has a strong tradition of surgical research. To grow our research output, we plan to employ a research coordinator at 0.8 EFT to work with both research units, serve as the hub for communication, and run the weekly Tuesday morning research meeting at Eastern Health.This model has worked exceptionally well at St. Vincent's Hospital, where we first started this program. With numerous collaborations spanning these two campuses, it makes perfect sense to further foster collaboration and expand the surgical research department at Eastern Health. The coordinator will work part-time at Eastern Health, with their home office at the St. Vincent's research department. This arrangement will benefit both sites and strengthen the collaboration between St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and Eastern Health.The coordinator will work at Eastern Health one day per week on Thursdays and attend the weekly Tuesday morning research meeting.
