About The RoleThe Customer Service Officer role is responsible for providing quality customer service to all internal and external customers. They provide an advisory service to all customers in relation to the practices and procedures specific to each jurisdiction and in some areas provide direct support services to the Judiciary.
The positions undertake a range of case management, information management and customer service tasks within a registry setting for civil and criminal jurisdictions and can also provide in court support to the judiciary. Applicants must also be able to learn how to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures within the business areas they are employed.
You will be required to attend to enquiries either in person or by telephone; assess and process applications; lodge documents into the court database; liaise with the public, legal counsel, and court users; prepare and check legal documents.
EligibilityTo be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
