Work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This role offers a wide variety of projects, including residential installations, renovations, and commercial ventures, providing exposure to a diverse range of experiences in the field.
Currently offering multiple positions across locations in Noosa, Caloundra & Maroochydore! Open to all Year Levels!
With the support of qualified tradespeople, you can expect to:
* Assisting in the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
* Supporting senior technicians in performing routine maintenance and servicing of cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
* Helping troubleshoot and diagnose issues in air conditioning and refrigeration systems and making necessary repairs.
* Learning to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications to understand the components and functioning of different systems.
* Assisting in calibrating and adjusting control systems to maintain proper temperature and humidity levels.
* Learning to handle and work with refrigerants safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment inspections, and parts inventory.
Requirements:
* Have a genuine interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, and related systems is crucial
* Basic knowledge of mechanical concepts and an aptitude for technical work will be advantageous
* Have solid mathematics and problem-solving capabilities
* Strong attention to detail & great communication skills
* Be able to take direction
* Hold a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
