Located in the Northern Rivers of NSW, we cover 10,441 square kilometres with three major community hubs: Grafton, Yamba, and Maclean.**About the role**This position is responsible for providing an effective and efficient mechanical service involving the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Council's plant, equipment, and vehicle fleet.**Key responsibilities:*** Repair, service, and maintain heavy commercial vehicles, earthmoving, and road maintenance plant, turf maintenance, and agricultural equipment.* Maintain light fleet passenger and commercial vehicles, fixed, and mobile generation units, small powered plant, and ancillary items.**Requirements:*** Address the essential criteria.* Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) detailing your skills and experience relevant to the position.* Demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.**Target questions:*1.
