Pastry Chef

Lead Baker/Pastry ChefThe Bread + Butter Head Baker will oversee employees in the bakery department and be responsible for the department's overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
Managing the running of daily bakery operations across all of our venues.
Manage logistics for all venues.
Ensure and foster a positive and creative environment within the team.
Employee training and growth.
Financial reporting.
Use of our bakery software Ordermentum.
Participate in open communication with our management, kitchen and front-of-house team members.
Create/update information sheets for employee knowledge.
Ensure compliance with our company policies.
Manage ordering and stock control.
Menu development.
Develop and Maintain HACCP procedures and practices.
Communicate and facilitate necessary repairs to equipment.
Support and training of all our kitchen, bakery & pastry team members.
Ensure the delivery of our menu items is consistently to a high standard.
Work collaboratively with our team to develop our dishes and how we provide them.
Learn all aspects of Bread + Butter Group operations, participate in company training programs, and implement and integrate our company policy and mission.

Supervisory responsibilities include:
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
Planning, assigning and directing work.
Scheduling meals and rest periods.
