The Client:
A leading Australian consultancy providing expert town planning, land development, engineering, surveying, and environmental services. Fostering innovative solutions and delivering outstanding service to local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
o Lead and manage town planning projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
o Prepare planning reports and studies, project proposals, and cost estimates.
o Mentor and supervise junior planners, ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
o Actively pursue new business opportunities and assist in developing proposals.
o Coordinate project resources, manage budgets, and monitor project timelines.
o Provide technical input on complex planning issues and resolve any project challenges.
Selection Criteria:
o Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Environmental Planning, or related field.
o Ideally 5+ years of experience in town planning and project management.
o Strong knowledge of statutory and strategic planning, and related legislation.
o Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and resources.
o Excellent communication, client liaison, and business development skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
o Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous professional development.
