Program Overview
Within Anglicare we support people at many different ages and stages in life. In the Out of Home Care space, Anglicare NQ is using the ‘Track my way’ program, linking the Residential Care and Supported Independent Living programs. This provides a pathway for young people aged 12-18 in the out of home care space, leading towards independent living. Anglicare NQ provides a home, from where staff support young people to their next step towards independence. Our program strives to ensure that the young people within our care are strongly connected with community, culture, and family, develop independent living skills, and can use their ‘intentional use of self’, self-reflection, self-regulation, and other nurturing activities.
