You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?You will provide advice autonomously on a diverse caseload of litigation and investigation matters across Macquarie Group to a wide range of senior stakeholders ranging from lawyers in Macquarie's businesses, to compliance, risk, technology, employee relations and security professionals.This role will see you formulate and execute litigation strategy, identify and evaluate evidence including conducting witness interviews and overseeing eDiscovery reviews, prepare and present on investigation reports, manage external counsel teams, design and implement frameworks that improve the conduct of contentious matters across Macquarie, and related reporting and training activities.What you offer5+ years PQE in private practice advising on complex disputes for highly regulated clients, including financial institutions.Significant experience of investigations or enforcement proceedings involving one or more Australian financial regulators e.g.
ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, ACCC.Prior in-house experience would be a bonus, especially at a global financial institution.Strong prioritisation, project management, creative problem-solving skills.Ability to excel under pressure and build trust with stakeholders.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
