Become a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, where you will be responsible for ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy.
Your Role:
You will work under limited supervision, tackling a variety of tasks that keep our site in tip-top shape. Key responsibilities include:
* Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
* Ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
* Maintaining asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
* Managing site vehicles and loading dock areas.
* Collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
* Purchasing and ordering equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
* Reporting and managing resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
* Developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff and contractors.
* Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.

What We're Looking For:
We require:
* A minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
* Hands-on property maintenance experience.
* An understanding of operational budget processes.
* Experience managing property-related contractors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
* A valid driver's license.
* Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) - desirable.
* Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.
