As our Metronet Railcar Project rolls on to design, manufacture and maintain 246 EMU and 6 DMU railcars for the PTA’s $ billion Railcar Program, we are looking to welcome a full time Industrial Planner to our team. To support a significant phase of our mono-project, this role offers a rare opportunity to be responsible for connecting all activities to deliver the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and is a key liaison and facilitator between internal teams. Reporting to the Planning Tender and Operations Director, you will have full autonomy to prepare and update the MPS and manage critical reporting's such as Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning ( S&OP and SIOP).
As a strategic, holistic thinker and problem solver, we will look to you to;
1. oversee and lead the end-to-end industrial planning process, working in close collaboration with the Project Planning Manager, Serial Production Controller, Supply Chain Manager, internal project teams and the Project Director.
2. ensure the demand management and scheduling (firm & forecast) is done in the Core Planning Tools and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
3. facilitate industrial planning reporting and be accountable to lead meetings for collaborative discussions & decision making
4. be a key contributor in all related meetings to ensure the Industrial Planning KPIs targets are met.
To enable your success; we require;
5. proven experience as an Industrial Planner or a role with these duties and responsibilities from a similar industry with a general understanding of manufacturing scheduling
6. knowledgeable of the End-to-End (E2E) vision for Industrial Planning process and process impact in ERP for procurement
7. advanced Excel and Microsoft skills
8. demonstrated capabilities to use and apply knowlege from an ERP planning tool (we use SAP)
9. a solutions oriented professional, driven to build and strengthen Industrial Planning process across a variety of levels.
