Join our Global Credit Risk team in Sydney. The Energy and Commodities team have openings across Associate to Senior Analyst levels. This team manages risk exposures across industries such as electricity and renewables, agricultural and bulk commodities, metals and oil and gas, while supporting Macquarie’s broader commodities and global markets business.

What role will you play?
In this team you will work closely and collaboratively with a team of senior approvers, management and business stakeholders to manage a portfolio of counterparties, review requests and new transactions.
You will play an active role in the approval and management of a range of derivative, physical trading and lending transactions across energy and commodity markets. You will work closely with other associates, analysts and business stakeholders to assess and monitor risk and present findings to management for approval.
What you offer
* Degree qualification in a related discipline, such as Business or Finance
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong excel skills, ideally prior exposure to financial modelling
* An understanding of Risk and the ability to interpret financial statements
* Previous experience in a comparable role is desirable
