We are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our client's Accounting Team to oversee financial planning, reporting, and control. This is a key role that analyzes financial data, provides strategic insights, and drives decision-making. By combining technical expertise with business acumen, they contribute to the overall success of our client's brand. In this role, you will: Prepare opex budgets and forecasts, report monthly variances, and analyze capex and working capital project variances. Compile materials for the Board Pack and report on the monthly balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow to the parent entity. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and manage periodic bank reporting, ensuring compliance with covenants, while handling bank interest and fee payments. Support corporate income tax return preparation, manage AASB 16 Lease Accounting journals, and provide data for insurance policy renewals. Approve online bank payments, respond to stakeholder queries, recommend process improvements, and undertake ad hoc projects as needed. About you: Must be CPA-qualified or Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong advanced Excel and intermediate PowerPoint skills, detail-oriented, hands-on, and collaborative with excellent interpersonal abilities to engage confidently with senior management. Experience in Franchise Marketing or the QSR industry is desirable, along with familiarity with preparing Financial Statements is desired.
