About the role
TAFE NSW is looking for qualified, experienced individuals who wish to be considered for the full time, permanent position of Teacher of Community Services. The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process.
TAFE Teacher’s deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. This position will be located at our Tamworth campus.

You are passionate about sharing your extensive industry experience and knowledge. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge to the next generation of Community Services professionals. You have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.

To succeed in this role you will be able to meet the following essential requirements:
1. Degree in a Community Services related area Social Work, Community Services, Youth Work, Alcohol and Other Drug Work, Counselling, Mental Health and other relevant areas.
2. Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent
3. Minimum three years post-qualification experience in the Counselling or Financial Counselling industry, gained no longer than five years ago
