Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeReporting directly to the General Manager - Manufacturing, you will lead Quality across our products & systems. This role directly supports our facilities and the GM Manufacturing. This role requires strong cross-functional partnership with facility managers and their teams. In this role you will lead our end-to-end quality including overseeing our service & warranty team. Your proven quality experience, attention to detail, strong leadership skills and analytical skills will demonstrate your ability to bring our client’s dreams to life delivering high quality products.Your day will involve:Establish a Management System, to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, for the division which supports the ANZ business plan.Collaboratively implement and improve our Quality Management System that is certified to ISO 9001 throughout Australia and New Zealand.Establish a strong leadership presence for quality; interacting with all team members and all levels of leadership. Through heavy involvement in each facility, communicate actively, frequently and openly to motivate team members to achieve improved quality outcomes.Provide technical support to the business, including advising Facility Managers and coaching / mentoring facility-based team members on quality improvement principles and problem resolution methods.Manage the audit program for operations and ensure that identified issues are integrated into the ANZ business and facility quality plans.Ensure full system compliance with Australian and New Zealand quality regulations.Identify quality training needs and ensure the appropriate development and implementation of training to meet these needs.Provide Facility Managers with tools to ensure team members can be correctly inducted onto their site including company induction and job specific training to ensure quality outcomes.Drive continual improvement and accountability for quality with the support of a team of compliance officers and quality assurance champions.Ensure quality control audits, daily observation activities and sample testing are held at each facility, at defined intervals.Ensure nonconformance root cause analysis and corrective actions are established at each site in a timely manner.Oversee the service & warranty team and support with managing workload and claims.Review data trends and report to the business on quality issues.About you:Minimum of 5 years in a quality/environment senior leadership role.Significant experience in a manufacturing work environment (ideally plastics or resins).Passionate, with attention to detail in every area of producing quality products.Experience with Quality Management Systems.Strong teamwork, supporting colleagues both within and outside immediate teams.Self-manages and demonstrates diplomacy when dealing with difficult people or colleagues from different cultures.Strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills, with a sense of urgency.Practices continuous improvement by constantly reviewing processes and outputs.Understanding of the deliverables of the functional department and a strong customer/stakeholder focus.Able to create big picture plans and ground them in tactical action-based plans that drive business results.A disciplined Manager who operates with integrity.In return you can expect:A commitment to your personal and professional development.A dynamic work environment where initiative is celebrated.Be part of a values-based culture, where we walk the talk.Be part of a disciplined team who work hard and celebrate success.Please include your resume and cover letter with your application.
