The Benevolent Society is a flexible and friendly organisation that offers various work arrangements, including Work From Home (WFH) and a 9-day fortnight. Our vision is to build a just society where all Australians can live their best life.
We have supported people at the margins of society for over 200 years, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, children, young people, and their families, older people, carers, and people with disability. We are an independent, non-religious service provider that supports people to live life their way.
Our Family Preservation Program works with families expecting a child or with children under 18 years old to strengthen family relationships and prevent child abuse and neglect. Our services are voluntary to families at high risk of entering or escalating within the statutory child protection system.
