Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.THE ROLEDue to company growth we are seeking a Boilermaker/First Class Welder to join our Operations team on a full-time, permanent basis on a salary of $100,500 per annum. Salaries are based on 38 hours per week, however you will be paid for all hours worked.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Carry out maintenance activities according to planCarry out breakdown maintenance in a safe and efficient mannerProvide accurate information to update the maintenance information systemFollow and complete all required reports correctlyMonitor the environment and report to the Line Manager on an ongoing basis regarding the status of plant and equipmentUnderstand all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative obligationsTake corrective action where necessary in response to reported defectsWork in accordance with the shutdown department HSEQ plans which focus on all aspects of the HSEQ systemCarry out work in accordance with statutory requirementsIdentify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actionsABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will have:Fabrication Trade Certificate2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar roleSound knowledge of welding proceduresAbility to fabricate, service, diagnose, and repair Machinery and Fixed Plant equipmentExcellent communications and organisational skillsPrevious FIFO or mine site experienceWorking at HeightsConfined SpaceWhite cardNEXT STEPClick the ‘apply now’ button
