The Team:
One Tree Defence Unit Little Geckos, Tindal NT
Located at the RAAF Base Tindal, just 15 km outside of Katherineand caters to Defence personnel and their families.Katherine is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory and is known as the place where "The outback meets the tropics". Situated on the Katherine River 320km southwest of Darwin.
The team have created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have capacity for 73 childrenand operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.On the weekends the adventure and experiences of the surrounding region will have you longing for the great outdoors. The Role:We are on the lookout for anenthusiasticEarly Childhood Teacher to become anintegralpart of our team at Little Geckos. This role offers a 37.5-hour week, where you'll have the opportunity to make asignificantimpacton the lives of children. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, ensuring a solid foundation in the principles and practices of early learning.
* A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
* Completion of a bachelor Early Childhood Education
* Current working with children check / teachers registration
* Up to date First Aid, CPR and Children Safety Certificate
* A passion for early childhood education, a collaborative mindset, and a positive attitude
* Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
