About the role
As a registered NDIS provider, CatholicCare Disability Services is a team of caring, experienced, and qualified individuals, who support people with a disability to make their own choices to live their best lives.
As the Van Driver for our Disability Services, you will drive a van to transport supported employees to work/training, or drive back home around the Canterbury, Belmore, Lakemba, Liverpool and Strathfield area.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring the safety of the supported employees during their commute, as well as ensuring other van drivers, parents, carers and staff are kept up to date. In addition to holding a C Class Driver's Licence, we are looking for people who are kind, helpful and always up for a laugh!
The impact you make will go a long way in helping our supported employees participate in society, as well as achieve their goals! You will also be supporting the wider team at our Disability Service to continue improving the opportunities for people with a disability.
Position Details
We have multiple positions available, with morning shifts (6:30am to 8:30am) and afternoon shifts (3:30pm to 5:30pm) on offer. You don't have to do split shifts (i.e. a morning and an afternoon shift on the same day). We plan to have up to 4 van drivers, so would ideally require you to work 2-3 times a week, depending on the need.
About You
To be a successful candidate for this role you will have:
* Driver's Licence (C)
* 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
* Current NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
