The Finance Analyst role is responsible for providing financial performance analysis for the Distribution business of Supply Chain.This role supports the planning and target setting processes, as well as appraisal of actual performance versus plans, to enable the Distribution leadership team to steer and control the business in line with strategies, objectives and plans.The incumbent will require a deep understanding of the Distribution business to support the Head of Operations.Responsibilities & RequirementsWork in full compliance with accounting standards, IFRS, IAS etc., including coordination of year-end audit requirements.Contribute to maintaining a fit for purpose, risk-based controls framework, assurance process, and controls compliance, including business planning, MI, key controls, and accounting integrity.QualificationsDegree qualified in Finance or equivalent.CPA/CA with 5-8 years of finance experience.Proven strong analytical skills and ability to understand commercial drivers of the business.Sound communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate decision-making.High attention to detail and structured working.Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple and varied tasks.Independent, self-starter with the ability to review and implement/embed policies, processes, and procedures.Excellent listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.Additional InformationWe welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and encourage and support diversity in our traditional and non-traditional roles.At Viva Energy Australia, we believe flexibility is the new normal.
