Description Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Responsibilities What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: • Maintain engineering related artefacts (e.g. Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Technical Certification Plan (TCP)) for Systems; • Support the engineering and configuration management activities • Develop/ review capability engineering requirements and procedural documentation; • Be the interface between Engineering Manager and System Managers by working collaboratively in a team to develop systems engineering, technical certification and integration documents; • Assist the Engineering Manager to prepare for Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Engineering Review Boards (ERB) and Perform quality control on engineering documentation submitted to the CoA by the vendors; Qualifications What You’ll Bring • Engineering experience and qualifications • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with CASG project engineering activities and planning; • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with Systems Engineering, preferably within CASG/ Defence environment (SEMP, Technical Certification Plans, Requirements Management); • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with software system safety, security and managing technical risk; • Knowledge/experience of Defence C2 systems/ applications; and • You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
