Wellbeing Carer Opportunity
We are seeking a Wellbeing Carer to join our vibrant team at Bupa Queens Park. As a Wellbeing Carer, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by creating joy, connection, and a sense of belonging.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fun Facilitator: Assist residents in exploring their interests through various activities such as art classes, gardening clubs, day trips, and movie nights.
* Social Butterfly: Foster a sense of community by connecting residents and encouraging social interaction through games, conversations, and other engaging activities.
* Supportive Companion: Provide emotional support to residents with cognitive impairment or mental health needs, and assist with daily living tasks like mealtimes and outings.
* Resident Champion: Gather feedback from surveys and family conferences to ensure activities meet resident needs and preferences.
* Team Player: Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns.
* Hygiene Hero: Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and adhering to food safety standards.
* Catering Crewmate: Assist with meal preparation and serving, monitoring resident preferences and dietary needs.

* First Aid Certificate: A current First Aid Certificate is required or a willingness to obtain one.
