We currently have vacancies across all three streams in the Recruitment Team which sits as part of the broader People Command.The three streams are as follows: Talent Acquisition Services Team Responsible for recruitment of support (corporate services) and specialist roles into the AFP, as well as any internal recruitment.The team works closely with our internal clients to understand their talent needs, develop attraction strategies, and guide them through the recruitment process with advice and processing support.Emerging Talent Team Responsible for bulk recruitment programs including the AFP's Graduate and Directions Programs (First Nations Employment Pathway), the team's work involves managing annual bulk recruitment processes and providing program management support to program participants within the business, as well as our internal clients who supervise participants.Sworn Recruitment Team Responsible for bulk recruitment for new police and protective service officer recruits, the team administers bulk recruitment year round, supporting candidates through their journey towards becoming police officers and protective service officers.You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.What will you do? Day to day responsibilities may include: Processing recruitment actions and selection outcomes using the in-house recruitment system (SAP Success Factors); Advertising vacancies internally or on external job boards including Seek, APSJobs, Linked In etc; Providing candidate care as applicants move through various recruitment gateways, including a high level of customer service in response to queries through the AFP Recruitment hotline and via our central mailbox; Being a positive and informative brand ambassador for the AFP in interactions with candidates, including when attending career expos, school information nights and university events; Thinking creatively and strategically in the way we market, target and attract critical and required skill sets; Participating in recruitment and selection assessment centres and gateways; Liaising with a variety of internal stakeholders in response to their recruitment requirements to ensure operational and business needs are met; Assisting in a range of corporate support tasks and contributing to the review and evaluation of recruitment policies and processes to enhance the delivery of recruitment to the AFP; Producing reports and updates on recruitment processes and other relevant statistics.Is this the perfect role for you?
