Who are we looking for?
We are seeking Senior Water Engineers in either Civil or Mechanical disciplines, with project management, design, and planning experience in Water Infrastructure to join us in our Adelaide office. We offer opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects and with a broad range of clients within the South Australian water industry, on a variety of small, medium, and large-scale projects. You’ll be part of a professional, collaborative, and friendly team, and sit alongside genuine technical leaders.
This diverse and exciting position will see you involved in:
1. Producing design drawings, reports, specifications, tender and technical documents for water infrastructure projects, including assets like pipelines, pump stations, storage facilities & other assets.
2. Planning and options assessment studies such as network master plans, strategic planning.
3. Site surveillance works such as inspecting works completion, and superintending services.
4. Coordinating resources, oversight of budgets, and supervision of timelines to provide quality and timely project completion of multi-disciplinary design teams.
5. Assisting with the preparation of proposals and delivering presentations to clients to win work.
6. Overseeing and facilitating knowledge sharing including mentoring junior team members.
What would you bring to the team?
1. Minimum 7 years of experience in a civil or mechanical engineering role that includes water infrastructure projects.
2. Civil/Mechanical design skills that include water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and/or storages.
3. Experience in the use of hydraulic modelling software.
4. Experience in the development of engineering drawings and documentation.
5. Project management or project support experience.
