The role requires a high degree of commercial acumen and an ability to balance driving growth at scale whilst continuously improving efficiency. Strong analytics, coupled with consumer insights, are critical to inform decision-making and optimise investments.They will partner closely with various internal teams as well as external partners to identify and test new targeting opportunities, offer constructs and capability enhancements to maximise business outcomes. They will also need to focus on uplifting the customer experience to remove friction from the application process and to acquire customers onto the most relevant/profitable products.Key success factors will be the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team; identify future growth opportunities, foster a culture of innovation, and build strong internal and external partnerships. This person will be a critical member of the Leadership team and will demonstrate leadership and collaboration across the business.Key Responsibilities Include:Develop and implement innovative strategies to proactively target and attract high potential prospects.Lead, develop, and manage all aspects of external Acquisition marketing including leading a large team of high performing digital marketing managers.Lead sales planning/target setting processes including forecasting and monitoring of performance against plan.Prioritise investments to optimise capabilities to drive cost-effective and profitable volume growth.Drive acquisition through existing distribution partner relationships by leveraging access to their channels and customer bases. Implement new external distribution strategies and partnerships to ensure the creation of new acquisition channels to drive future growth of proprietary cards.Work closely with key business partners including Product Teams, Risk, and New Accounts to ensure alignment and most effective strategies are being developed.Identify opportunities and drive alignment with cross-functional partners such as Global Merchant Network Services.Maintain market awareness of both competitors and technological advances to analyse, plan, and develop future strategic plans for acquisition.Build strong relationships with Central teams in order to define and implement acquisition growth strategies in Australia and NZ.Minimum QualificationsTo be considered for this position you will have/be:Seasoned business leader with strategy, acquisition, digital, and partnership management experience.Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills with a proven track record of effectively managing large investment budgets and complex and competing strategic initiatives.Strong people leader with a proven track record of developing great talent, driving colleague engagement, and a clear willingness to continue to improve and grow as a leader.Strong business judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills including an ability to influence and inspire others to support key strategies and tactics.Proven track record of delivering innovation including finding new ways to inspire teams to improve and reinvent existing, old, or long-standing processes as well as new initiatives.Deep understanding, experience, and commitment to the customer and designing strategies that drive deeper engagement and loyalty.Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.Highly collaborative.Ability to handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
