Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to deliver new capabilities to our Federal Government and Defence customers, supporting the technical delivery of programs.
In this true project delivery role, you will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders and customer engagements, actively leading the project team, and ensuring delivery against requirements and milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with technical teams to achieve program goals.
* Coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply, and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management.
* Evaluate project performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions.
* Supervise and coordinate work performed by external contractors.
* Participate in budget development and evaluate how project plan changes impact cost and schedule.
* Manage the cost, schedule, resourcing, subcontractor deliverables, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
* Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
About You and What You'll Bring
You are a seasoned Project Manager with proven delivery experience in complex and multi-vendor environments. You have practical experience with key project artefacts and are confident managing scope, developing and maintaining Microsoft Project schedules, requirement management, budget, and risk logs.
To succeed in this role, you must thrive in high- tempo team environments, possessing strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage senior stakeholders, both internally and externally. Experience working in disciplined frameworks like Agile Scrum, PRINCE2, or PMBoK is desirable.
