The Project Manager will be responsible for providing procurement advice and services across the organisation and also responsible for property services, specifically property capital works, as well as security and property operations.
The Assistant Director, Property and Capital Works will develop comprehensive end-to-end integrated project plans, detailed scheduling, and status reports for the organisation's property portfolio.Proposed Order Commencement Date: ASAPProposed Order Term and/or Completion Date: 12 Months with an option to extend for 2 X 3 months.Security Clearances: Baseline or ability to obtain a Baseline clearance.Key Duties:Manage and co-ordinate capital work projects, including new and renewal of leasing agreements, fit outs, and management of the Future Workplace Strategy.Manage assigned projects and develop project plans and identify potential risks associated with capital projects and develop risk mitigation strategies.Following Commonwealth Procurement rules, manage project budgets, cost estimates and financial forecasts.Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including plans, reports and progress updates.Extensive understanding of local, state and federal regulations and coordinate approvals for projects as needed.Foster a collaborative work environment.Provide supervision to supporting project staff within the Procurement and Facilities team as required.Specific Conditions: Some interstate travel is required, including overnight absences.Qualifications - Desirable: Proven experience in Project Management, preferably in the field of capital works or construction.Apply directly or for more information on this role, please contact Kalpana Palaniyappa on 0403 200 666 or email your resume to ****** for consideration.And to stay up to date on other opportunities, visit our website or follow us on LinkedIn.Calleo is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage applications from all people including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
