We start right at the top, helping our clients implement their strategic vision with a clearly articulated business case, target operating model design and robust implementation plan. We get under the bonnet of every layer of an organisation, from improving citizen experience to the performance of the organisation, optimising day to day operations and service delivery. We also specialise in setting up and running large-scale, complex transformations, designing and implementing best-in-class portfolio and program management to ensure successful delivery and execution of significant programs of work for both states and the nation.Our team collaborates with senior leaders across Federal and State government, who are faced daily with shifting stakeholder expectations and regulatory obligations, requiring them to transform their operations to improve processes, optimise their organisational structures and lower costs. As a member of our awesome team, you will:Engage directly with senior clients across the public sector and government on their most important and challenging business issues and solving their priority problemsWork with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive quality and performance through their business operationsDemonstrate an exceptional understanding of complex program management and the ability to manage multiple work streams and take a diverse group of stakeholders through a sustainable transformation programHave proven people management capabilities, exceptional team leadership skills and the ability and desire to develop others in their careersDraw on Deloitte's unique capabilities in design thinking, platform engineering, customer experience, data and analytics, Deloitte Access Economics and experience from our global consulting network.Be working alongside Australia's leaders solving the toughest problems - you will never have a boring day About your Experience In response to strong client demand for our services we are currently seeking to recruit an outstanding Operations Transformation Consulting Director for our Sydney team with experience in government and/or public service.To succeed in this role you will have:Extensive operations consulting experience in a Tier 1 Consulting firm, boutique strategy house or a senior internal advisory roleA strong background in government and/or public serviceDemonstrated experience in operating model design, business process improvement and complex transformations (PMO)Experience leading large scale consulting projects, managing senior relationships within top listed organisations, and managing large, diverse teams (both virtually and in person)Experience in a leadership role emphasising growing and developing junior team members and driving a culture of continuous learningAbility to quickly build rapport and grow client relationships to establish a strong network in marketAbility to solve complex business problems using a hypothesis-based approachDemonstrated experience in leading client pursuitsStrong quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills Why Deloitte?
