This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading This role will play a critical role in managing the agency's software assets through their normal lifecycle. You will deliver timely and efficient management of software and licensing requests via various provider and vendor portals and internal systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring licensing is appropriately maintained and controlled with an emphasis on ensuring the agency meets its licensing and compliance obligations in a cost-effective and proactive manner. Key accountabilities : As the primary contact and management focus for the documentation, communication, processing, and coordination of the software asset management and licensing function with multiple broad and diverse stakeholders. Contribute to the ICT Asset Management and configuration management systems to securely store asset data, software licensing data, Configuration Items (CI) data and to provide accurate information for risk assessment, customer queries and incident resolution. Maintain effective processes and controls for ensuring the quality of agency's software asset management system Undertake regular reviews of the software and licensing systems and processes and contribute to processes for handling and remediation of any non-compliance Facilitate and support key service management forums through the provision of timely and accurate usage and licensing reports and independent feedback on the effectiveness of ICT service delivery as relates to software asset and licensing management Review and analyse software and licensing performance to identify and implement opportunities for innovation and improvement that create and extend business benefits, optimise cost and performance of services, and mitigate technical and business risks. Provide first-class customer support and guidance for software licence requests and fulfillment. Develop and maintain consultative relationships and networks with senior management, internal stakeholders, and other government agencies, to stay abreast of contemporary and innovative Software Asset Management and licensing practices. Highly desirable requirements: 3 years of experience demonstrating a practical knowledge of software asset and licensing management in an enterprise environment. Experience and qualifications in the ITIL 4 Service Management framework, including certification in ITIL 4 Foundation would be considered highly desirable.
