Wood is currently recruiting for a Commercial Advisor on a permanent contract to join our team in the Melbourne office to support the Asia- Pacific - Eastern Region, a region which encompasses a varied portfolio of contracts across various industries in eastern Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this diverse role will perform the full range of commercial activities from commercial inputs to proposals, preparation and negotiation of commercial pricing models, pre- and post-award contract reviews, contract administration and commercial close out activities.

Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce, quantity surveying, or similar discipline In addition to an undergraduate degree, the individual should have at least 4 years work experience in the engineering, construction, energy, utilities or similar industry with demonstrable exposure to key contracting concepts, principles and commercial management in a technical services environment Considerable experience in drafting and interpretation of contractual documentation.
Considerable experience in developing commercial strategies and preparing commercial pricing models Considerable knowledge and experience of commercial administration processes and procedures You must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role.
