You will be an expert at developing and delivering Major Project's Construction Environmental Management Framework (CEMF) setting out environmental management standards.
As part of your role, you will engage and negotiate with the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) and agencies (such as BCD and Heritage NSW) regarding post-approvals environmental management requirements including Environmental Management Plans.
You will also be responsible for strategic management and advice on post-approval environmental management issues across Major Projects.This position reports to the HSE Director Major Projects and works in collaboration with the Senior Environmental & Sustainability Manager and relevant Major Project Environmental Managers.About YouTertiary qualification at degree level in an environmental planning/management related disciplineGood understanding and demonstrated experience in the use of geographic information systems related to environmental planning and management.Demonstrated extensive understanding of the environmental and social aspects and impacts of electricity supply projects.Well-versed in environmental legislation and risk management.Strong understanding and extensive experience in the management and preparation of environmental management plans for Class A and B projects in NSW in accordance with Part 4 and Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.Recognition & RewardWe believe in providing our people personal, professional, and social benefits so that they can deliver their best work each and every day.
