The Role:
This role will be based in Melbourne, reporting to the GM of Member Engagement. The EM of Strategic Partnerships will lead and manage key strategic relationships with two of AP+'s largest members.
Core Responsibilities:
* Driving growth in transactions and revenue with key members over the medium to long term.
* Overseeing and expanding the strategic commercial relationships with AP+'s key members.
* Collaborating with member stakeholders to understand their strategies, priorities, and customer needs.
* Creating compelling propositions for AP+ products to increase adoption.
* Leading negotiations, deal-making, and RFP responses.
* Managing and deploying AP+ rebates.
* Developing comprehensive strategic account plans for key members.
* Leading and mentoring Account Manager(s).
* Assisting the GM of Member Engagement in setting goals, metrics, and reporting.
* Driving organizational change to support members and the overall success of AP+.
Proposed Position Requirements:
* Proven experience working within or alongside complex financial services organizations.
* Payments experience within a financial institution.
* In-depth knowledge of payments systems and their application within financial institutions.
* Proficient in consultative selling and product management.
* Ability to effectively package and present products.
* Expertise in building and nurturing executive-level relationships.
* Experience in structuring and negotiating commercial deals.
* Proven track record leading cross-functional teams.
* Demonstrated success in negotiating complex deals.
* Strong ability to develop and empower high-performing teams.
