About the Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Director to join our Cost Team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to further establish your strong reputation by applying your significant experience across the fields of project controls, planning and scheduling, and claims and dispute management.
We are looking for professionals who will enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people and bring their self-driven mindset and leadership to proactively solve problems and address project requirements.
As our Associate Director, you will have the opportunity to further enhance your experience by applying and developing your skills in respect of the delivery of commercial, cost, and risk solutions in relation to the field of commercial, claims, and formal dispute management on major complex civil, rail, buildings, infrastructure, resources, industrial, and health projects.
What You'll Bring
1. 10+ years of experience in cost management roles with an emphasis on consultancy roles.
2. 7+ years of experience in claims management and contract administration.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or Law.
4. Experience in the quantification and costing and / or commercial management of construction works.
5. Demonstrated experience in leading teams in a consultancy or advisory environment.
6. Experience across numerous sectors, including consulting, finance, infrastructure, and technology.
7. Experience engaging directly with clients and managing client expectations.
8. Exposure to project design, project planning, project delivery, risk management, cost management, or dispute resolution would be advantageous but not essential.
9. Proven strong technical skills with demonstration of report writing, preparation, and interpretation.
